Further, any comments, messages, blogs, scribbles etc. posted/ uploaded/conveyed/ communicated by users on the public sections of the Application becomes published content and is not considered PII, subject to this Policy.

HOW DOES HANSA CEQUITY COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Hansa Cequity collects information in different ways:

Hansa Cequity may use PII to verify whether you are entitled to access and use the Applications and the products and services made available through the Applications. Hansa Cequity shall not be responsible for any liability arising from receiving PII of other persons submitted by you and you shall completely indemnify Hansa Cequity from any action on the same. 

Mode and place of processing the Data/ Methods of processing

Hansa Cequity takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. 

The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to Hansa Cequity, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of this Website (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by Hansa Cequity. HOW DOES HANSA CEQUITY USE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

How Hansa Cequity uses your information depends on how you interact with Hansa Cequity services. Generally, Hansa Cequity may also use your information to:

We may aggregate and/ or de-identify data about customers and site visitors and use it for any purpose, including product and service development and improvement activities. 

Legal basis of processing

Hansa Cequity may process Personal Data relating to Users if one of the following applies: 

  • Users have given their consent for one or more specific purposes. Note: Under some legislations Hansa Cequity may be allowed to process Personal Data until the User objects to such processing (“opt-out”), without having to rely on consent or any other of the following legal basis.
  • provision of Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which Hansa Cequity is subject;

The Data is processed at Hansa Cequity’s operating offices within India and/ or in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located.

DOES HANSA CEQUITY SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Hansa Cequity may share your information within the organization. We do not sell your PII. However, we share PII with our vendors, contractors, business and service partners, or other third parties (collectively “Service Providers”). Examples of Service Providers include analysis firms, advertisers, payment processing companies, customer service and support providers, email, IT services and SMS vendors, web hosting and development companies and fulfilment companies. Service Providers also include our co-promotion partners for products that we jointly develop and/ or market with other companies. 

Some Service Providers may collect personal data on behalf of Hansa Cequity. These third parties may be provided with access to personal data needed to perform their functions. In addition, Hansa Cequity practice is to require its Service Providers to keep your PII confidential and to use PII only to perform functions for Hansa Cequity. 

If Hansa Cequity sells all or part of one of its product lines or divisions, your information may be transferred to the buyer. Hansa Cequity reserves the right to disclose your information to respond to authorized information requests from government authorities, to respond to valid judicial requests, to address national security situations, to provide security and investigate potential fraud, or when otherwise required by applicable law.

Hansa Cequity may also disclose aggregate or de-identified data that is not personally identifiable to third parties for any purpose. 

Retention time

PII shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. 

Therefore: 

  • PII collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between Hansa Cequity and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
  • PII collected for the purposes of Hansa Cequity’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfil such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by Hansa Cequity within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.

Hansa Cequity may be allowed to retain PII for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, Hansa Cequity may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority. 

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.

The rights of Users

Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by Hansa Cequity. We will endeavour to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

Hansa Cequity is ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management Systems) and ISO 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management Systems) certified. We have implemented multi-layered controls to ensure the security of the data that we collect as part of our business process.  

It is Hansa Cequity’s practice to take steps to secure our Services; however, the confidentiality of information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. We urge to exercise caution when transmitting PII related to you. Hansa Cequity cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not gain access to your information; therefore, when submitting PI to Hansa Cequity websites, you must weigh both the benefits and the risks. Hansa Cequity websites may link to third party websites that are not controlled by Hansa Cequity or subject to Hansa Cequity privacy policy. You should check the privacy policy of such third-party websites before submitting PII.
