With the implementation of GDPR in EU, policymakers in India need to be aware of how businesses, end users, and the government adapt to a post GDPR regime. Indian policymakers can take the learnings from GDPR and use it to draft a strong Indian Data Protection Law. With better data use laws in place, firms can identify the data they have today and find ways to better engage with customers by creating a quality two-way value exchange.
